About Sheryar
I am a doctor with over 3 years of teaching experience, and I have cleared PLAB, USMLE Step 1 and Step 2. I have taught students across medical, nursing, and healthcare-related subjects, with a strong focus on making clinical knowledge clear, practical, and easy to apply.
My background in medicine gives me a strong foundation in anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology, clinical reasoning, patient assessment, and safe patient care. This allows me to explain nursing topics in a structured way, linking the theory to real clinical practice, exams, and patient-care scenarios.
Over the years, I have helped students prepare for exams, improve their understanding of difficult topics, practise clinical scenarios, and build confidence with patient assessment and decision-making. I can support learners with NMC CBT preparation, NMC OSCE-style practice, drug calculations, medicines management, university nursing exams, clinical placements, and core nursing knowledge.

My nursing lessons are designed to make difficult clinical topics clear, practical, and easy to apply in exams and real patient-care settings. I focus on helping students and nurses understand the reasoning behind nursing care, rather than simply memorising facts or procedures.
Lessons can be tailored for **NMC CBT**, **NMC OSCE**, university nursing exams, clinical placements, drug calculations, medicines management, anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, and core clinical skills. I explain each topic step by step, linking the theory to patient assessment, safe practice, communication, documentation, and clinical decision-making.
A typical lesson may include high-yield explanations, exam-style questions, clinical scenarios, OSCE-style station practice, drug calculation methods, care planning, prioritisation, and feedback on how to improve answers. For CBT preparation, I focus on understanding the clinical reasoning behind questions, recognising common traps, and improving exam technique. For OSCE preparation, I focus on structure, safety checks, communication, infection control, patient dignity, assessment, and clear step-by-step performance.
I also help with important nursing areas such as vital signs, ABCDE assessment, sepsis, diabetes, respiratory conditions, cardiovascular care, wound care, fluid balance, pain management, medication safety, safeguarding, and patient-centred care.
Each lesson is adapted to the student’s level, weak areas, course requirements, and exam goals. Whether the aim is to pass the NMC exams, improve confidence on placement, strengthen clinical knowledge, or prepare for university assessments, my lessons are structured, supportive, and focused on safe, effective nursing practice.
