When I first engaged with Ed I was anxious about meeting with a tutor and feeling out of my depth on my course. Immediately he put me at ease with his friendly and reassuring nature. Not only is Ed supportive and easy to get along with, he is also extremely knowledgeable when it comes to science at all levels. He was able to find ways of breaking down and explaining even the most complicated of concepts in ways which best suited my style of learning and was very patient and understanding along the way!

I have worked with Edward for many years and he truly is one of the best scientists I've had the pleasure to work with. He is rigorous, dedicated and very approachable. I've been taught almost everything I know by him and I can say without any doubt, he is a spectacular teacher with a wide range of knowledg, beyond his expertise.
