About Srikanth
I am currently in the process of submitting my PhD in Earth Sciences at Université Laval, Quebec (expected date of award by July 2019). I am currently residing in Brampton and on the lookout for part-time tutoring opportunities in the GTA area. I have completed M.Phil and M.Sc in Physics from India. I have taught physics to students at graduation and post-graduation level for over 5 years. I have instructed both theory and practical classes as per university guidelines with strength of up to 30 students per class. I am deeply passionate and capable of breaking down various concepts of physics to the basic level ensuring students’ complete attention and interest towards the concept. I believe in constant learning and thus always research on new and innovative methods to teach physics.

My primary goal as a lecturer is to create a classroom environment in which students from all backgrounds can achieve their potential and learn to think as scientists. To accomplish this goal, my teaching philosophy relies on emphasizing concepts, applications, engagement, and inclusion. To achieve this, I consider explanation of concepts using both written (using board or paper) and visual examples. Further, emphasizing the conceptual knowledge with different numerical problems related to the concept.
