About Khalid
I'm Civil Engineer by profession, pursuing my PhD in the Department of Earthquake Engineering from IIT Roorkee. I have done my masters (M-Tech Geotechnical Engineering) from NIT Agartala. Qualified AIEEE, 2011 and GATE in 2016.
I took up science as my subject in higher secondary school and thus paved the way for studying engineering later in my life. My persistent efforts at doing well at academics bore early fruit when I cracked All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) which has an acceptance percentage of 2%. That event set me on the path of studying science and technology with greater focus and zeal so was able to excel during my bachelors. I was awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Bharath Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai India, for outstanding performance – I had secured Sixth (6th) rank in the Bachelor of Technology programme among 209 candidates who graduated in Civil Engineering.

My passion as a teacher is thus a natural continuation of my quest to exchange my ideas and uplift society. Now, I want to share my ideas and views of the subject to add global experience to students understanding.
