About Sohini
So, I come from a small town in the northeast of India (Silchar). Growing up I developed a notion that the status of my being is directly associated with the stream I chose and the profession it leads to.. and that boils down to taking up science and opting the roads to medical or engineering!
Frankly, I was not much into main streams from the very beginning. Whilst in my 11th standard I got intrigued into the concepts of life sciences like genetics, Biotechnology, molecular biology.. I knew what I had to pursue.
Now that decision has made me the best version of myself. I love my subject so very much that I decided to do a PhD in Biotechnology. Now after years ofexploring into the subject, I not only deal with experiments, I ace in coding, which is my subject matter for PhD, Bioinformatics in oncology.
I know, till this I sou ded like a pure nerd. That I am! But I love singing adn dancing since I have been trained in both right from my childhood. I am an extrovert and I would love to interact with anybody that seeks for knowledge.

The conventional ways work but at times you need to stir things up to get a grip on the subject.
