I have been teaching JC and Secondary School Biology since my undergraduate years. My experience has allowed me to develop a student-centered teaching approach that focuses on breaking down complex biological concepts into clear and digestible explanations. I believe that a strong foundation in content is key to mastering Biology. Many students struggle because classroom lessons may not always cover topics in sufficient detail due to time constraints. My teaching philosophy is to patiently guide students through the material, ensuring they fully understand the fundamentals before tackling more advanced applications. By reinforcing core concepts, students gain confidence, which translates into improved performance in answering examination questions. I adapt my teaching pace based on each student's learning needs, slowing down when necessary to strengthen their understanding, and accelerating when they are ready to advance. My goal is to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, engaging with the subject, and ultimately excelling in Biology.
