About Emi
With over 35 years of dedicated experience as a reading specialist and a Doctorate in Education (Ed.D.), I bring a high level of professional expertise, proven methodology, and genuine care to every student I teach. Literacy is the foundation of all academic achievement, and my mission is to provide structured, evidence-based instruction that yields real, measurable progress.
When you work with me, you are partnering with an educator who truly understands the science of reading and how to adapt complex skills to fit your student’s unique learning style. I foster a supportive, highly organized, and encouraging environment where learners feel safe to take risks, build independence, and master new challenges.
You can rely on my unwavering commitment to professional standards, clear communication, consistent progress tracking, and absolute dedication to your student’s growth. Together, we will build the skills, self-assurance, and academic confidence necessary for long-term success.
