About Mary
Law is a very interactive, Socratic field, in which “question and answer” is the way to learn, and immediate feedback is usual and necessary. The feedback needs to be clear and concise, fair, and nuanced. Critical thinking is needed and highly praised, as it is required for weighing and distinguishing between situations and contexts with very slight differences or with barely perceived, but deeply important, likenesses. Interpersonal skills are vital, and a very good handle on psychology is critical.

The field of Law uses, many times combined, formal and informal methods of training and assessment. Also, adjusts techniques of teaching and working based on the realities of life and society, and switches as needed between incremental goals and approaches with studying the big picture and judging things from the largest of perspectives. It is a field in which you need to be flexible, completely dedicated, open, quick, compassionate, firm, idealistic but completely grounded in reality, strong, personable, a good communicator and a good leader, and always a student as well as a teacher.
