About Shriraksha
I've had the wonderful opportunity to work as a tutor for Math (G1-12), Science (G1-12), and English (up to grade 8) at the Oxford Learning Centre. My main goal was always to help students truly understand the "why" behind the concepts, not just the "how." By focusing on cognitive learning, I helped them make connections that made the material click and stick. I've also applied this same personal, student-focused approach in my tutoring experiences back in India. Beyond tutoring, my passion for chemistry has been fueled by extensive, hands-on laboratory experience, both in and out of the classroom. This has given me a deep, practical understanding that I love to share. Combined with strong communication skills and the ability to think critically and strategically, I am confident I can create a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable, inspired, and excited to learn.

I'm double majoring in Chemistry and Physical Science at UofT and have experience in personal and private tutoring at Oxford Learning Centre. I can teach Physical, Organic, Inorganic and general Chemistry from grade 9 to University 1 level. I have extensive laboratory experience even out of the scope of my courses. My teaching is solely based on deeper understanding of concepts in easier and beautiful ways. I'm very passionate about teaching. I can make you fall in love with Chemistry.
