About Alex
I am currently studying music performance at the ACM in Guildford, I have just completed my foundation degree on drumming and am now moving forward into my first year degree.
I have attended the ACM for four years now and gathered enough information to start teaching others.
I specialise in Rock and metal drumming whilst I can perform a few other genres such as blues and pop.

My teaching method is taking the lessons slowly and making sure that the person is confident in what they’re doing, I will always encourage people to perform and make them as comfortable as possible. I will also go through notation and counting to make sure you know what you’re doing. I will start off with the basics to begin with.
I have been in situations where I do not feel comfortable to perform and would not wish it on anyone.

I have known Alex for over a year now. We are in the same band together, Alex is easy to get along with and patient in rehearsals. He would easily be able to pass on knowledge to students without intimidating or making them feel disheartened, and possesses a wide skill set.
Alex has great knowledge regarding rudiments, and can give amazing 1-1 lessons.
