About Matt
I'm a drummer and percussionist that has over 12 years of professional working experience, and 16 plus years of teaching experience. I've worked in the Toronto area for multiple professional recording studios as a musician and engineer. Vanier College music program with a major in drums to Music Technic Private audio college music degree. Music is my life and I'm very passionate about connecting with others (young and old) who I can help make it a part of theirs.

I focus on goal-oriented tasks. Starting always with a conceptual understanding varying on skill level and then breaking down a focused approach to implementing new skills. I believe the gratification/fun part starts happening when you see growth and my main focus is to install methods and systems to allow for maximum growth.

Perfect! right out of the box very friendly. very knowledgeable on the subject and explains things clearly. thorough to make sure i've got a concept down before moving on to the next. generous with his time, spent a whole hour with me for the free lesson and gave me plenty to work on. not too much or too little. very patient and encouraging. i am going to pursue learning percussion with matt. i can already tell he's going to be a great help for me on my musical journey. i hope this review helps someone else on theirs. cheers.
