About Zara
Bonjour! I’m a native French speaker currently living in Mississippi, with 7 years of experience teaching and tutoring. I hold a PhD in Biology from France, specializing in cell and molecular physiology, and have taught college-level biology courses in the U.S. for several years. My passion for education extends beyond science—I’ve also worked as a middle and high school counselor and have supported students in various subjects, including French. Despite living in the U.S. for over 20 years, I’ve maintained my French accent and deep connection to the language and culture. I love sharing that with students through engaging, interactive, and personalized lessons that go beyond grammar to include real-world usage and cultural insight.
