About Izzy
I'm Izzy, a 21 year old recent Durham Geography graduate living in London and currently studying towards an MSc in Business and Sustainability. I'm really passionate about education, learning, and geography in particular, but I also understand what it is like to be a student and feel overwhelmed by all of the different course content you need to learn! This is why I like to try and make lessons as engaging as possible, and am happy to give any advice on education and academia in general (I achieved all 8s and 9s at GCSE, and all A*s at A Level whilst playing netball and having a social life, so I understand what it's like to juggle commitments!).

I've always been really passionate about the discipline of geography, and as I have just finished my degree at the high-ranking Durham University, I would love to take on both GCSE and A Level Geography students having recently achieved highly in both courses (AQA for GCSE, and Edexcel for A Level) myself.
As a current master's student, I am very flexible and am happy to work around the availability of students, ideally offering one hour slots weekly. I am based in London, but am happy to provide both in-person and online lessons depending on location.
I am DBS checked, and I have tutored family members before as well as mentoring younger students. In my teaching I usually focus on ensuring a student is well-versed and knowledgable on the subject syllabus, as from my experience this was crucial in achieving high marks. I am also happy to share my expertise and top tips (such as unique and contemporary case studies and revision methods vital to both A Level and GCSE work), and obviously support the student in whichever areas they are struggling with.
