About Sue
I have been blessed to have had over 35 years of industry experience. I have worked both in front of & behind the camera & I love it all.
I've been a part of many national & international film & TV productions.
Some memorable work includes the following:
* Female lead in "Once Upon A Road Trip,” a South African film directed by David Moore.
* Starred as female lead in the acclaimed TV drama "Butterfly Dream" (SABC 3).
* Co-hosted food and travel documentary series for Carlton Food Network & MNet, covering destinations across Southern Africa.
* Acted with top local & international actors like Marius Weyers, Luke Goss, Rob van Vuren and Leslie Grantham from East Enders.
*Voice Artist & Radio Playwright - SABC
Worked under the mentorship of Brian O'Shaunnessy, contributing as a voice artist and writer. Authored six radio dramas and a feature film script for national broadcast.
* I have been a senior casting director & scout for over 30 years.
My most recent work has been as an audiobook creator. I wrote the script, co-voiced, co-illustrated & edited a children’s audio playbook, "The Magical Forest Collection" now selling on Author’s Republic.
I have a post-graduate diploma in Film and Theatre (London Theatre School) and 2 years study at UCT drama school under the incredible Mavis Taylor & Chris Weare.
