About Marie
I am a Singing tutor with more than 15 years of experience, teaching school students, college learners, and working professionals who wish to improve or rediscover their voice. My teaching is built on understanding, communication, and a strong belief that anyone can learn to sing with the right guidance and practice. I follow a personalized teaching approach where I study each student’s voice, learning style, and goals. This helps me create lessons that match their needs. My sessions include warm-ups, breathing techniques, vocal exercises, tone polishing, pitch correction, and expression training.
I also use simple explanations and real examples from everyday life to make learning easier and more practical. Apart from singing, I teach related subjects such as music theory basics, ear training, rhythm exercises, and performance preparation. These topics give students the complete experience of learning music and help them perform confidently on stage or in recordings. One of my unique skills is helping students overcome stage fear and build confidence. I guide them on how to use body language, facial expressions, and emotional connection while singing. I also encourage creativity, allowing students to experiment with different styles and understand their strengths. My classes are friendly, open, and comfortable. I always listen to my students’ doubts, give clear feedback, and celebrate their progress. Many of my students have improved their vocal quality and have become more confident performers. My teaching methodology for Singing combines real-world learning, motivation, creativity, and teamwork. I believe that students learn better when they see how singing works in real situations. For this reason, I use case studies from performances, studio sessions, and professional vocal routines. This makes lessons more meaningful and helps students understand the purpose behind each technique.
I work hard to motivate students because confidence is essential in singing. I create a friendly and encouraging learning space where students feel comfortable to learn, make mistakes, and try again. By tracking progress and celebrating achievements, I help students stay focused and positive.
Creativity is another important part of my approach. I guide students to explore different genres, experiment with vocal colors, and express emotions freely. Through creative activities like vocal improvisation and phrasing practice, they learn to build their own style.
Collaboration strengthens the learning experience. I work with students to understand their goals, challenges, and interests. Together, we build a personalized plan that fits their voice and expectations.
With problem-solving, we break down difficulties into simple steps. Whether it is breath management, articulation, pitch, or stage fear, I provide clear strategies to overcome them.
