About Rachel
I went to Bloomsburg University of PA and received my bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education and Deaf Education. I also received minors in Special Education and American Sign Language. I have wanted to work with children my whole life and I have worked very hard to do so. I am driven, organized, passionate, and very dedicated in everything I do, especially when working with children. I truly love it and I strive to be a lifelong learner to always help the children. I believe I make a great tutor and would love the opportunity.

I use a variety of different teaching strategies to teach my students. I first figure out what ways they learn best. Every child learns in different ways, especially when they are young. I try to make learning fun and enjoyable for all of my students. Whether that be completing hands-on activities, playing learning games, completing worksheets, giving a demonstration, practicing together, and so on, I use many techniques to best suit each student. My lessons are for any Pre-K or Elementary aged student. We work on Reading and English skills.
