Hello! I am an early childhood educator holding a Master's Degree in ECE: Curriculum & Instruction. My 40-year career is dedicated to helping young children build foundational skills and a love for learning. My background includes 27 years of service at a childcare center, where I rose from Lead Teacher to Assistant Director while spending 11 of those years running before/after school programs and summer camps. In addition, I served as Director at our second location. I also bring 2+ years in Head Start, 3 years of specialized ABA autism spectrum support, and extensive hands-on nannying experience. I know exactly how Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd graders process information and stay engaged online. Remote learning for young children requires a unique touch. Because of my deep background in curriculum design and behavioral management, I don't use boring worksheets. Instead, I use bright visuals, interactive digital games, and patient encouragement to keep your child smiling and focused. My K-2 Specialties Include:
Early Literacy: Phonics, letter sounds, blending, sight words, and reading confidence.
Foundational Math: Counting strategies, number bonds, and early addition/subtraction.
