About Starlia
Starlia Phillips is a visionary sculptor and multimedia artist based in Driftwood, Texas, whose work bridges the gap between traditional craftsmanship and contemporary aesthetics. Inspired by nature, human experience, and cultural narratives, her art invites viewers on an introspective journey of discovery. Through intricate sculptures and captivating pâte de verre glasswork, she crafts pieces that evoke deep emotion and connection. With a BFA in Studio Art from Texas State University and an AA in Studio Art from Austin Community College, Starlia has exhibited in numerous juried shows. Her work is held in private collections, and she actively contributes to the art community as a gallery manager and as fundraising chair for her local art league. A dedicated member of the Dripping Springs Art League, Glass Art Society, International Society of Bead Makers, International Sculpture Center, and Wimberley Valley Art League, Starlia continues to push artistic boundaries while fostering creativity in others.

With my background in fine arts and sculpture, I emphasize both traditional and experimental techniques, guiding students through the artistic process with patience and expertise. I tailor instruction to different skill levels, offering constructive feedback and fostering a positive, inclusive environment. Whether working with beginners or experienced artists, I will inspire confidence, curiosity, and a deeper appreciation for the creative process.
