About Benjamin
I am an ECE undergraduate at UIUC, coming from Stuyvesant High School. I love math and the journey of building an understanding of something new, especially when it is taught well and with a focus on intuition and visualization. I'm committed to bringing this feeling to my students, adapting to how they learn, and making human connections. Aside from math, I enjoy coding! I've taught Java and Python with a self-made curriculum to 30+ students.

I believe that students should be guided to good intuition and an understanding of how new concepts can be used. When introducing new ideas, I use real-world examples, visual aids, and slow buildup to the full complex concepts. I'm naturally a patient person, so I understand that students struggle, and I work with them one-on-one until they understand. I teach trigonometry, algebra, calculus, and coding to middle and high school students.
