About Tom
Hi, I'm Tom. I am a recent MSc graduate who understands the pain that comes for the rigidity of the education system. I'm here to offer flexible teaching methods, combined with personalised content, to help you learn on your terms.
I have achieved excellent grades throughout my education and teaching runs in my family, so I am confident of teaching not only what to learn, but also how best to learn it.

I will develop a personalised learning program with you before we begin our lessons based on the topics you wish to study. I will then curate my lessons to the areas of subjects you want to spend time on. We will try to determine your learning style before we begin and I will develop my lessons accordingly to maximise your chances of understanding.
A typical lesson will involve:
• An introductory overview of the topic, including a motivation for why it is important
• An in-depth explanation of the theory behind the key concepts, while highlighting its relation to the real-world
• A step-by-step walkthrough of example questions, led firstly by me, then by you with my support
• Further example questions, and extensions if you achieve a good understanding
• A review of the lesson, and set homework if desired
I have informally tutored many ages from primary school to GCSE in the past, and have an empathetic understanding of learning behaviours.
