About Ophelia
I hold a B.A in Economics and an M.Sc in International Economics, with 8 years of experience teaching students at various academic levels. My approach emphasises connecting theoretical frameworks to real-world applications, encouraging critical thinking, analytical reasoning, and independent learning. Beginners learn fundamental concepts such as supply and demand, opportunity costs, market structures, and incentives using simple examples and guided exercises. Intermediate learners explore policy impacts, elasticity, consumer behaviour, market failures, and international trade. Advanced students analyse econometric models, financial trends, and complex policy implications, developing the ability to make reasoned judgements and predictions. I provide a supportive environment where questions, discussion, and problem-solving foster confidence and intellectual growth.
