About Prateek
My interest in economics began with a desire to understand how societies allocate resources, make policy decisions, and navigate global challenges. This curiosity led me to pursue a B.A. in Economics and International Development, where I studied both theoretical frameworks and practical applications of economic concepts. Over the past 11 years, I have guided students of all ages and backgrounds in building confidence and comprehension in economics through structured, supportive, and interactive teaching methods.
I believe economics should empower learners, not intimidate them. Many students struggle with abstract models, formulas, or technical terminology, so I focus on making ideas relatable and understandable. My teaching philosophy emphasizes patience, clarity, and active engagement. I encourage learners to think critically, ask questions, and form independent conclusions while steadily building knowledge and analytical skills.
Outside the classroom, I stay connected with economic research, global market trends, and policy analysis. This allows me to bring contemporary, real-world context to lessons. Teaching economics is deeply rewarding because I witness students gain confidence, understanding, and curiosity. Helping learners develop both analytical skills and a genuine interest in understanding the world’s economic systems is the most fulfilling aspect of my work.

Economics becomes fascinating when students understand its influence on everyday decisions, markets, and global policy. My lessons are designed to provide a clear understanding of microeconomics, macroeconomics, supply and demand, market behavior, fiscal and monetary policy, and international trade. I focus on explaining concepts through relatable examples, encouraging learners to see the connection between theory and real-world phenomena. Each session is structured to build confidence, promote critical thinking, and cultivate analytical skills.
As learners advance, lessons cover more complex topics such as market structures, game theory, economic modeling, international finance, and policy evaluation.
