About Hywel
- Data Analyst at the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office - First Class BSc. in Economics from the University of Exeter -Fully integrated online tutoring experience, with interactive whiteboard and pen tablet. I’m a friendly and patient maths tutor who enjoys helping students build confidence and understanding in the subject. I like making maths feel clearer and more approachable, and I find it really rewarding to see students grow in confidence over time. I take a calm, supportive approach to teaching and always tailor lessons to the individual student, helping them feel comfortable asking questions and developing strong exam skills.

I focus on building clear understanding and confidence in maths, rather than memorising methods. Lessons are structured and tailored to each student, identifying gaps in knowledge and working through topics step by step using clear explanations and exam-style questions. - Clear, step-by-step explanations - Worked examples and guided practice - Focus on exam technique and common mistakes - Encouraging questions and active participation I have a strong academic background in maths and experience supporting GCSE and A-Level students.
