About Simran
I am a friendly, helpful and patient tutor who will adapt to any learning technique in order to provide the student with the best learning experience. I am an Economics graduate pursuing a career in private equity. I am very passionate about tutoring as it enables me to support students and help them understand key concepts. I have been tutoring students aged between 5-16 since my education at Hydesville Tower School (2015) and Queen Mary’s Grammar School(2017). Personally having been through the struggle of not knowing how and what to revise I can understand the difficulty which students experience and what guidance they need in order to achieve the top grades.

I make my lessons enjoyable by interacting with the student in a enthusiastic manner, to help them become more confident within themselves and in the subject. In the six years of teaching, I have witnessed that no two students are the same hence I have been working on how to individualise learning techniques to make learning easier for each student.
In general, I begin with testing the student’s knowledge and comfort zone. Then I constructively plan the order of topics which needs to be delivered, ensuring the student doesn’t feel overwhelmed with the information. This allows the student to grow in confidence and understand more challenging aspects.
