About Toby
I am an enthusiastic academic tutor who graduated from the University of Bristol, where I had an amazing experience. My passion for travel has taken me to the Balkans, South America, and the Mediterranean this year. As a history and economics nerd, I bring a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm to my tutoring sessions. I love teaching and regularly engage in language exchanges, where I teach English. Outside of academics, I enjoy staying active through Cross training and Muay Thai, which helps me maintain a balanced and dynamic lifestyle. My diverse interests and dedication to education make me a versatile and engaging tutor.

- 1-1 explanations to ensure personalised attention with regular progress tests to monitor improvement. Further, we will have time to plan and practise exam questions to build confidence. Finally, engaging games at the end of lessons to reinforce content. - Lessons are usually 1 hour long. -BSc 1st class honours in Economics from the University of Bristol and I achieved AAA* in Maths, Chemistry, and Economics at A-Level. -Since 2021 I have been a tutor in Mathematics and Economics and since 2022 I have run large-group study sessions at my university. -My lessons are for students of the SATs to A-Level grade. Students of all ages welcome (my students have ranged from 10 to 40 years old!). -This approach ensures that each student receives tailored support and engaging learning experiences to achieve their academic goals.
