About Everly
My academic interest in economics grew from curiosity about how societies allocate resources and respond to change. This led me to complete a B.A. in Economics followed by an M.Sc. in Applied Economics, where I developed strong analytical and quantitative skills. Over 9 years of teaching, I have helped students move from surface-level understanding to confident economic reasoning.
I believe effective economics teaching requires clarity, patience, and real-world relevance. I adapt explanations to each learner’s pace, ensuring concepts are understood deeply rather than memorized. I emphasize discussion and reasoning so students actively engage with ideas.
Beyond teaching, I stay connected with economic research, policy discussions, and data analysis. Teaching economics is meaningful to me because I help students develop informed perspectives and analytical confidence that support both academic success and everyday decision-making.

Economics becomes clearer when students understand how individual decisions influence larger systems. I help learners grasp abstract ideas like supply and demand, elasticity, inflation, and growth by linking them to everyday economic experiences. Lessons emphasize logical reasoning, graphical interpretation, and clear cause-and-effect relationships.
Lesson progression adapts to student needs. Beginners focus on foundational concepts and terminology. Intermediate learners analyze graphs, data sets, and simple models. Advanced learners work on policy evaluation, exam techniques, and economic writing skills. Each session builds confidence through guided practice and reflective discussion.
