About Ali
After completing a BA Hons in Economics & Management Science I worked in The City of London for many years climbing the corporate ladder but laterally my heart just wasn’t really in it anymore and, after many years of helping my daughter with her homework I decided to take the leap and retrain for a career in education. I have worked in schools teaching children in all age groups across the primary curriculum with specialism in maths, which I also teach up to GCSE. In my spare time I enjoy playing tennis, socialising with family/friends, travelling and taking long walks with my rescue dog.

Tutoring tailored specifically to your child’s individual needs and capabilities. Children do not all learn the same and it is essential to target lessons specific to each child to ensure it builds upon solid existing understandings or where this is missing, identify gaps and bridge them. Lessons are linked to the specific interests of each child and incorporate real life scenarios thus making them more engaging. This in turn develops an understanding and recognition of the topic’s relevance to the real world which enhances the children’s interest. Experience of working with a wide variety of SEN children in both a whole class and 1:1 setting.
