About Elias
My interest in economics grew from curiosity about how societies allocate resources and respond to change. I earned a B.A. in Economics followed by an M.Sc. in Development Economics, focusing on policy analysis, growth models, and social impact. Over 9 years of teaching, I have guided students to build strong analytical skills and clear economic reasoning. I value clarity, structure, and relevance in teaching. Lessons are adapted to individual learning styles, using graphs, examples, and discussion to deepen understanding. I encourage students to question assumptions, analyze outcomes, and develop confidence in expressing economic arguments. Beyond teaching, I follow global economic trends, policy debates, and development research. This allows me to bring current relevance into lessons. I emphasize reasoning, interpretation, and clear graphical understanding rather than rote memorization. Real-life case discussions help learners connect abstract ideas to everyday economic behavior.
Lessons are adjusted to suit each student’s academic level. Beginners explore core ideas such as scarcity, opportunity cost, and basic market interactions. Intermediate learners strengthen graph analysis, numerical problem-solving, and economic reasoning. Advanced students focus on policy evaluation, analytical writing, data interpretation, and exam-structured responses. Regular practice and guided discussion help students express economic ideas confidently and logically.
