About Reina
My passion for economics began with curiosity about why some nations prosper while others struggle, and why individual choices can shape entire economies. Over the past eight years, I have dedicated myself to understanding and teaching these complex systems in a way that simplifies without losing depth. I believe that economics is one of the most important subjects a person can learn, as it connects directly to decision-making, leadership, and global awareness. I approach teaching as a guide rather than an authority. Every student enters with a different perspective, and I see it as my role to build upon their unique way of thinking. Some students love numbers and data, others enjoy theoretical discussion and big-picture thinking. I tailor my approach to meet both, ensuring that each learner feels supported, challenged, and inspired. Patience, clarity, and structure are at the heart of my teaching style. Outside the classroom, I constantly research global markets, policy changes, and economic trends to keep my knowledge current and relevant. I attend seminars, read journals, and engage in debates that sharpen my understanding. Sharing this ever-evolving knowledge with my students makes teaching feel like a continuous journey of growth. To me, economics is not just a subject — it is a way of seeing the world.

Economics is not merely about graphs and formulas—it is about understanding how the world moves. My lessons are designed to connect theoretical principles with real-life scenarios, helping students see the invisible forces that shape markets, governments, and personal financial decisions. From the very first session, we explore concepts such as scarcity, supply and demand, opportunity cost, and economic systems in a way that is practical, engaging, and deeply relatable. I guide students to look beyond memorization and instead develop critical and analytical thinking that empowers them to interpret the world through an economic lens.
As students progress, we move into microeconomics and macroeconomics, examining consumer behavior, business strategy, inflation, unemployment, fiscal policy, and global trade. Each topic is supported by case studies, real-world data, and interactive problem-solving exercises. Whether the student is preparing for exams or building knowledge for future careers, I ensure lessons remain personalized and adaptive. I encourage questions, debate, and exploration so that students feel comfortable developing their own interpretations and arguments.
The most rewarding aspect of teaching economics is watching students realize its relevance in everyday life. They begin to understand news headlines, market trends, and even their own spending patterns in a new way. My goal is not only academic success, but long-term financial awareness, strategic thinking, and intellectual independence. Economics becomes a powerful tool for understanding both society and self.
