About Jalen
My interest in Economics began from observing how financial systems influence people, businesses, and global development. I completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Economic Studies before earning a PhD in International Economics. Over the last 5 years, I have helped students understand economic concepts through patient explanation and structured learning methods.
I believe learning becomes easier when students can connect theory to practical situations. My teaching style focuses on clarity, discussion, and steady progress rather than rushed memorization. I adapt lessons according to each learner’s pace and academic goals so students feel supported throughout the learning process. Building confidence is always an important part of my teaching approach.
Outside teaching, I enjoy reading about global markets, financial policy, and economic trends around the world. Staying informed helps me make lessons more current and meaningful for students. Teaching Economics is rewarding because I enjoy helping learners become more analytical, informed, and confident in understanding the world around them.

My Economics lessons are designed to make complex ideas easier to understand through practical examples and structured explanation. I teach topics such as supply and demand, inflation, trade, macroeconomics, and market behavior using simple language and real-world connections. Lessons focus on helping students think logically and understand how economic systems affect everyday life.
Beginners learn core concepts, graphs, and terminology through step-by-step guidance and interactive discussion. Intermediate learners explore policy, market structures, and economic relationships in greater detail. Advanced students improve analytical writing, data interpretation, and evaluation skills. I also use case studies and current economic events to make lessons more engaging and relatable.
Economics helps students develop stronger reasoning and decision-making skills beyond the classroom. My lessons encourage independent thinking, confidence, and deeper understanding while maintaining a calm and supportive learning environment. I want students to feel comfortable discussing economic ideas and capable of analyzing problems with clarity and confidence.
