About Aaron
Hello! I'm Aaron, an experienced Economics tutor and incoming student at UCLA for the class of 2030.
I sat the AS Economics exam in 2023 and achieved an A and was ranked second in my cohort against students in years 12 and 13. Afterwards, I completed the course with an A* overall and also received a NZQA scholarship in economics. In 2026, I was also named top in New Zealand for A Level Business for the 2025 O/N Cambridge exam series.
Outside of school, I've competed in various prestigious economics competitions. This included representing New Zealand at the Australasian Economics Olympiad and being awarded a high distinction for 3 years straight at the New Zealand Economics Competition.

Having tutored economics and business for three years, I have learnt the value of sharing my passion for current affairs with students to keep their subjects engrossing and applicable to the real world - while helping them prepare for the level of context required to succeed in exams.
Taking advantage of the one-to-one nature of private tuition, I deliver conversation-led lessons that explore the syllabus in a collaborative way with a concurrent focus on exam technique.
