About Siena
I am an upperclassman Economics major at the University of Florida with a GPA above 3.9 and experience in economics research and econometrics. I have several years of experience helping students succeed in AP and college-level coursework, working with them to prepare for exams and improve academic performance.
My goal is not only to help students achieve better grades and test scores, but also to help them become more independent learners who can approach challenging material with confidence and understanding. I enjoy seeing my students succeed and sharing my passion for economics with them!

My lessons are very interactive, in order for the student to develop the necessary skills to successfully think like an economist. I emphasize clear, structured thinking, as in economics understanding models and logic is more important than memorization. I focus on breaking down Microeconomics and Macroeconomics into step-by-step frameworks that make complex topics intuitive and easier to apply to problem sets and exams.
A typical lesson focuses on the student’s goals, whether that is more short-term, such as an exam review session, or long-term, such as mastering the content of an entire economics course. We can work through targeted examples, reinforce key economic principles, and practice applying models to different question types, and much more so that the student can develop better understanding of the content. Lessons are suited for AP and college-level economics students as well as high school students building a foundation in the subject.
