About Samah
I am empathetic, approachable, and supportive, with a genuine passion for economics that I hope to share with my students. My goal is not only to help you achieve excellent results, but also to build your confidence and, if possible, spark the same enthusiasm for the subject that I have. With over four years of dedicated study in economics, I have developed a strong understanding of the subject and how to break it down into clear, manageable steps. I believe tutoring is a partnership: I will put in the effort to guide and support you, and in return, I encourage my students to stay committed and engaged. Together, we can make real progress.

About My Lessons
My lessons are engaging, interactive, and focused on real-life applications of economics. I believe that learning is most effective when it’s both enjoyable and practical, so I encourage reflection and discussion alongside problem-solving.
I tutor IBDP Economics (HL & SL), GCSE Economics (CIE & Edexcel), and AP Economics (Microeconomics & Macroeconomics).
A typical lesson includes:
- A short “do-now” activity or starter question to warm up
- Guided note-taking with opportunities for questions and discussion
- Practice questions to apply concepts just learned
- Homework for reinforcement and independent practice
- A preview of the next lesson to encourage preparation and planning
What sets me apart as a tutor is that, having recently completed both programs myself, I understand the pressure students face. This allows me to teach not only with clarity, but also with empathy — helping you feel supported, confident, and never left behind.
