About Parul
I have been teaching at Lady Shri Ram College since 2015. My areas of interest are microeconomics and econometrics. I received my Master's degree in Economics from the Johns Hopkins University (USA) in 2015 where I worked as a teaching assistant for a year and received the Undergraduate Teaching Award for excellent performance in the role. Between 2012 and 2013, I was Assistant Professor at the University of Delhi, where I taught courses in econometrics, Indian Economics and macroeconomics.

While teaching, it is my constant endeavour to engage the student by encouraging interaction and questions. In addition to emphasizing the intuition behind theoretical concepts, I try to include simple and relevant examples in my explanations to facilitate learning. I also try to include the use of software such as Stata, GeoGebra and Wolfram Alpha to illustrate concepts.
