About Callie
My interest in economics developed from curiosity about market behavior, societal resource allocation, and policy evaluation. This led me to earn a B.A. in Economics and an M.Sc. in Development Economics, equipping me with a strong theoretical and analytical foundation. Over the past 9 years, I have guided students through complex topics, transforming confusion into understanding and empowering learners to think critically about economic phenomena.
I focus on clarity, engagement, and real-world application in my teaching. Lessons integrate case studies, data interpretation, problem-solving, and discussion to cultivate independent thinking and analytical skills. I encourage students to explore multiple perspectives, ask questions, and apply economic reasoning to everyday and professional contexts.
Beyond the classroom, I engage with current research, economic analysis, and practical applications, enriching lessons with contemporary examples and insights. Witnessing learners gain confidence, competence, and curiosity in economics is deeply rewarding.
