About Sierra
My interest in economics began with curiosity about how resources are managed and how economic decisions affect daily life. This led me to complete a Master’s in Development Economics, where I developed strong understanding of economic systems and policies. Over the past 5 years, I have taught students from different academic backgrounds and helped them build confidence in economics. Teaching has become a meaningful part of my professional journey.
My teaching style is structured, patient, and focused on clarity. I adjust my explanations based on each student’s learning pace. I use simple language, real-life examples, and step-by-step reasoning to make learning easier. I also encourage students to ask questions and think critically so they can improve steadily.
Beyond teaching, I continue studying economic trends and development policies to stay updated. This helps me bring relevant and practical examples into my lessons. I believe economics is not just a subject but a way to understand the world. My goal is to help students become confident learners who can analyze situations clearly and succeed in both academic and real-life environments with strong understanding and confidence.

My economics lessons are designed to make learning simple, structured, and easy to understand for every student. I begin with core topics such as demand, supply, and basic market concepts, explaining each idea in very simple English. I focus on helping students understand how economic systems work instead of memorizing definitions. I use real-life examples like pricing, income, and daily financial decisions so students can clearly connect theory with real situations. I also create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning step by step.
As students progress, I introduce advanced topics such as national income, inflation, fiscal policy, and global trade. I guide students step by step so they can understand how different economic factors are connected. Practice questions and case-based discussions are included in every lesson to improve understanding and analytical skills. I also help students improve answer writing and exam performance. Each lesson is designed to build strong conceptual clarity and steady academic progress over time.
Economics becomes meaningful when students can apply it to real-life situations. I help learners develop critical thinking so they can analyze economic problems clearly. Over time, students become more confident in understanding how economies function. My goal is to help students build strong knowledge, improve reasoning skills, and apply economics effectively in exams and real-world decision making with clarity and confidence.
