About Jorge
Hi, my name is Jorge!
I'm an industrial engineering student at Dalhousie.
I originally come from Ecuador, in South America. I have a neutral Spanish accent (Latin American) which is super easy to understand. I also do voice acting and love linguistics!
I've volunteered at the Spanish Department working with Spanish students from multiple levels as a talking aid.

I have experience teaching Spanish to young adults and elderly.
My approach is filled with references to English so you can pick up the language as easy as possible.
I am relentless and don't give up if you need more examples! I creatively look for different paths that might adjust to your learning style.
Spanish is such a colourful language and amazing to draw comparisons to English. Be sure I'll draw from my linguistics experience to make the language much more relatable to you.
At the same time, I come packed with media suggestions that will help you improve like a native speaker. Adding to this, coming from Ecuador, means that I have a rather neutral accent, easy to pick up and decipher!
