About Hongrong
Hello there! From far west of China to Beijing to New Orleans to Tennessee and currently living in Beijing, as a certified engineer in China and USA and a native Chinese speaker with fluent English, I have a wealth of stories and experiences that I would love to share while we practice on getting your confidence and ability of Chinese. I have an education background in both China and USA. I like learning new things. I also like to coach Ping-Pong, play it, and watch it as well. I wanted to try something new that involves teaching. I have taught English related with energy consumption and environmental protection in an informal setting before and I believe that Chinese teaching should be fun as well.

My teaching style is easy and flexible, yet very pragmatic. For beginners, I'll teach very simple words, so you can immediately apply them in real life, such as ordering food at a Chinese restaurant, or asking a stranger when you are lost in a new place. If you really can speak some basic Chinese, and you want to practice and make improvement. sure we can do that. And i can help you improve your speaking and listening skills for both formal and informal business settings, such as meetings, negotiations and presentations. We will also make sure to use the proper grammar, proper pronunciation, and proper tone. And if we make any mistakes along the way, we make sure to correct on the spot and make sure you are clear.
