About Allyson
I am a passionate and supportive educator who loves helping students discover their potential and grow in confidence. Having experienced moments of feeling lost and overwhelmed at school myself, I understand that everyone learns differently. This inspired me to pursue a career in education and create a positive, encouraging learning environment. My goal is to help students not only improve their grades but also develop the confidence and skills they need to succeed both in and outside the classroom.

I take a patient, supportive, and personalised approach to tutoring, adapting lessons to suit each student's learning style and goals. As a qualified secondary English teacher with experience teaching students aged 11-18, I focus on building confidence, improving subject knowledge, and developing effective study skills. Lessons are typically 60 minutes long and include clear explanations, guided practice, and constructive feedback. My aim is to create a comfortable learning environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions, make progress, and achieve their academic goals.
