About Maya
I am currently a third year student at McGill University. I am studying education with the goal to get a masters in special needs education. For as long as I can remember, I’ve loved math. I have tutored students in math, along with other subjects, up to a grade 10 level. I enjoy working with students to help them gain an understanding and love for math!

I choose my lesson plans based on the student. Everyone learns differently which means that each student needs their own plan suitable for them. I connect with students to find out how they learn best and build schedules that fit their needs.
My strengths include math up to a 10th grade level
Anything is possible when you put in the effort and keep a positive mindset. No one is permanently bad at math, they just need to learn in a way that works best for them.
