About Senthu
I am a UCL BA Education Studies Student who has experienced working in schools. Through the role of a teaching assistant, I have been able to assist with the classwork; whether this be through preparing materials needed for the lecture as well as interacting with the students during lessons and activities.

My teaching method involves mainly student participation. I believe that through participation, students would be able to gain a better understanding of the topic being learnt. This may include conducting activities which requires students to answer mini questions on the topic. I believe that the lesson should be as active as possible whilst maintaining the school environment. This can be done through group activities as well as getting the children to move around the class. As a student myself, I can understand that sitting in front of a table whilst the teacher teaches may not be the best teaching method.
Furthermore, I believe one to one teaching is highly beneficial as well.
