BA Education Studies student who teaches Greek and English lessons online and in person in Manchester

About the lesson

I am originally from Greece and I have been living in the UK for the past three years. During my school studies, I took the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IBDP) in which I studied Arts, Psychology, Biology and English B in Higher levels. My Standard levels were Maths and Modern Greek Literature. I graduated with a 36/45 overall and moved on to my BA Education Studies degree from UCL IOE. Finally, I am currently entering a Med course in Psychology of Education in Manchester University.

My teaching methods involve identifying what works best for the individual to be taught and focus on learning through a variety of study skills including repetition, reading loudly and copying, creating mind-maps and using flashcards in order to assist memory building.
Additionally, one of my main aims is identifying areas that need to be worked on more and giving exercises that will assists students to develop their skills.

In particular, I can provide good advice when it comes to essay writing and assisting people who struggle to write essays and texts by providing them with plans and explaining the process of writing.
