I'm an educator (university and community college) and professional scientist (bioanalytical chemist) with a passion for seeing other learn and appreciate chemistry. I have an advanced degree in analytical chemistry, have taught at the university/community college level for over 6 years, and have 15+ years in research. I'm an active learner and I enjoy teaching. I try to make complex concepts and theories easy to understand. I work example problems and then give problems to test understanding. I stress problem-solving techniques and good fundamentals.
