About Thalia
I have served as a Teaching Assistant for Calculus and Computer Science. I am well versed in C++ and Python programming languages, as well as Cybersecurity. I have worked at Spelman College, done programs in partnership with University of Pennsylvania, and have worked at elementary schools as well. I have always been a people person and look forward to meeting people and cultivating relationships through my work. There is a deeper purpose in my tutoring, and my hope is for my students to leave feeling more sure of themselves and their capabilities.

I have a background in primarily Pre-Calculus and Calculus I. I have worked with various students ranging from the elementary to undergraduate level. Also, I like to focus on the explanation behind the answers, and want my students to feel confident in themselves and their work. If that requires more time or a different approach, I will do that. I believe we are working together and can both benefit from the tutoring sessions, outside of the topic at hand. I am extremely accommodating, and will not turn anyone away regardless of learning disabilities
or behavioral issues. I also prioritize building a basic foundational relationship that will contribute to the success of the tutoring sessions. Thank you.
