About Darren
I have worked in teaching for over 20 years so carry with me many ranges of delivery and expertise, in addition to many years in industry. I like to think one of my strongest aspects is that I'm a pleasant and very patient person who likes to see progress and I'm very flexible to your learning. My first sessions are often free and are purely introductory as a kind of getting to know.

My lessons I like to make as interactive as possible. Combining videos with class notes and informal assessment. I like to use a lot of different resources online and so the importance of keeping notes is important. I teach to the standard you base your studies on and try to include differentiation as part of my strategy. Ie extension work. My level of student are from KS3 up to A level and cover a range of Vocational BTEC Units as well as applied maths and electronics (digital and analogue) of which I have previously taught at A level. I can also teach project in terms of setting up and laying out. Typical length of a lesson is minimum 1 hour maximum 2 hours. I welcome all age groups from GCSE to adult and apprentices.
