About Aman
I am entering my Third Year at the University of California, San Diego, as an Electrical Engineering student with a minor in Astrophysics. I have tutored in Kumon for 3 years, having finished the whole program myself. I graduated Westview High School in San Diego with a 4.2 GPA, having taken AP Physics C: Mechanics, AP Physics C: Electricity and Magnetism, AP Chemistry, AP Calculus BC, APUSH, APEL, AP Environmental Sciences, and AP Psychology. I am currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, as mentioned before, with a specialization in Signal and Image Processing, and I plan on graduating early and taking on a Master's in Electrical Engineering as well.

My lessons are catered towards students from 9th-11th grade, but have been broadened to 7th to 12th graders in the past. I offer two forms of tutoring: Question-based and yearlong. Yearlong: Students typically send me their course information and syllabus at the beginning of the year. I build a course plan based on this, and typically meet with the student twice a week: Once to review that week's class material and once more to give a broad overview of the coming week to ensure the student is prepared for class. Question-based: Students contact me with 1+ questions, typically in the form of a homework set or a practice test. We go over the assignment together and I ensure the student understands the foundations to be able to solve the assignment on their own.
