About Dax
I was very successful in teaching math subjects, because I knew what it was like to not understand a single thing and give up, I knew the thought process and exactly what me and my peers struggled at. A lot of the times, people are brought up to like math from the very beginning either from family or friends and continue on from there. I started off as the usual, I hated math and would pass with D's. One day I turned it all around, grabbed my Algebra 2 book and went through the entire thing on my own out of frustration. It all clicked when going through my Calc book, and only when I was acing every test and everyone asked for my help, did I realize my capabilities. From then on, I knew exactly how to teach it, because I knew exactly what it felt like. I was no prodigy, I never started off enjoying it, but that's exactly why my methods are effective. I know the mindset, I know exactly where the most struggle lies.

My method is very visual, I like to use as many tools as possible for the same ideas so you can better understand. I don't want people to just try and memorize formulas, I like to teach the ideas behind how they are made and why they work. 9 times out of 10, when you see why they work, it sticks in your head easier. I am very patient; we can take as much time as we need on one topic or I could speed through if you are a quick learner! My lessons are for high school students and college students. Or even if you are self-studying in math, I can teach you the methods I use or point you in the direction you are interested in.
