In every singing lesson I teach, my priority is helping you feel empowered in your voice and excited about your progress. I know that every singer comes with a unique blend of experiences, goals, and challenges, so I take time to really understand what makes you tick. Whether you're a complete beginner or an advanced vocalist, our lessons will be shaped around your personal musical path. We’ll explore technique in a way that’s practical and clear, working through breathing, range, tone, control, and expression at your pace. I also make sure our sessions are creative and interactive. Music isn’t just about technique — it’s about connection, energy, and joy. That’s why we use a mix of methods: playful vocal games, movement, imagination, and interpretation tools that help you connect with songs deeply and make them your own. You’ll have the freedom to pick songs that resonate with you, and I’ll help you sing them with clarity, emotion, and control. I know singing can feel vulnerable, especially if you’re shy or nervous — and that’s totally okay. My teaching style is patient, friendly, and adaptable. We celebrate small wins, take time when needed, and always stay focused on progress without pressure. I’ll also help you structure your practice time so it fits into your life, not the other way around. With customized weekly goals, you’ll know exactly how to move forward between lessons. If you’re preparing for a specific event or want to explore topics like harmonizing, stage presence, or basic music reading, we can work on those too. My goal is to support your growth as a complete artist, so you can feel proud of your voice and confident in your abilities — onstage or off.

My methodology supports singers who see themselves as creators—singer-songwriters, multi-instrumentalists, or genre-blenders who want to develop their voice alongside their artistry. I help students sing authentically while building technique that supports their musical vision.
Lessons start with foundational work: breath, pitch, resonance, and range-building. But from there, the journey is collaborative. I listen closely to the student's goals—whether it’s improving live performance, recording smoother vocals, or building a signature sound—and design a personalized roadmap.
We integrate singing with musical identity. For singer-songwriters, we workshop original songs vocally, working on storytelling, melodic clarity, and dynamic arcs. For band members or solo performers, we focus on vocal stamina, mic technique, and live performance skills.
We explore various vocal textures, tones, and colors—what I call “vocal palette”—so students can express more than one emotion or mood within a song. I also teach harmony skills, looping, and improvisation to support collaborative music-making.
Lessons are often cross-disciplinary. If a student is working on an EP, we might prepare studio-ready vocals. If they’re preparing for open mics, we’ll simulate performance conditions and troubleshoot stage anxiety.
I create a supportive, judgment-free zone where creativity thrives. I coach both the voice and the artist behind it—offering strategies, encouragement, and tools to sing with honesty, versatility, and confidence.
