About Shayla
Hello! I’m Shayla, and I’m passionate about fostering a love of learning in every student. With a background in special education and personal experience in homeschooling, I’ve had the opportunity to work with a diverse range of learners, each with their own unique strengths and needs. I hold a Master’s degree in Education, which has further deepened my understanding of how to best support students at all stages of their learning journey. Reading has always been one of my greatest passions. I strive to share that love with my students through engaging, hands-on lessons. As an educator, I am dedicated to tailoring my lessons to fit the individual needs of each student, ensuring that every child receives the attention and support they need to succeed. I take pride in creating an inclusive environment where students feel valued, heard, and excited to learn. My goal is to inspire curiosity, boost confidence, and empower my students to reach their full potential.

Welcome to our classroom! In my lessons, I focus on creating a warm, inclusive environment where every student’s unique needs and learning styles are valued. I believe that each child has their own strengths, and it's my goal to build on those strengths while providing support where it's needed most. Whether through hands-on activities, visual aids, or personalized instruction, I adapt my approach to ensure every student feels confident and engaged.
