About Kristin
I have taught 5th grade, worked as an interventionist in the area of reading, and served as my school's MLSS coordinator. We look at data, determine needs of students, and monitor progress to make changes where needed. Passionate about reading: decoding, building fluency, comprehension, and all aspects of learning. I love helping students improve on their reading skills through a variety of types of texts and literacy activities. My passion is education and I continue to grow as an educator myself.

First and foremost, we need to get to know one another and build a level of trust before we can jump into learning. My lessons are geared towards the student with subjects of interest. I promise lessons will be engaging and motivating. We will work and learn together. The beautiful thing about education is that you can never stop learning and growing!
